| About Andrea Tese |
| Andrea Tese is a fine art and fashion photographer whose debut solo exhibition
entitled “Boats Against the Current” appeared at the Heist Gallery located in
New York City in 2009. Her photography has also appeared in group exhibitions
at Conner Contemporary Art and the Georgetown University Art Gallery in
Washington, DC and the Visual Arts Gallery in New York City. Tese’s fine art
photography is owned by the Sandor Family Collection and the Johnson Museum of
Art at Cornell University, and has also been featured in industry publications
such as disTRIBUTE (the web gallery created by American Photography) Phillips du
Pury’s phillipsartexpert.com and The Visual Arts Journal.
Tese’s fashion photography has been featured in T: The New York Times’ Style
Magazine, as well as international editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan Magazines. In May 2009 Tese was presented with the Young Innovative Award by the National Arts Club, as well as
the Gold Medal award, the highest honor bestowed by the club.
After obtaining a BA from Georgetown University, she received her MFA from The
School of Visual Arts in 2007. Tese was born and raised in New York City, where
she currently resides. |
